In addition to moderating the content of specific Discussions and Libraries, you can also moderate specific users if you want to review all of their Discussion posts and Library Entries before they're visible to other users.
You can place individual users in Moderation on the Moderate Users page, located in the Admin interface.
NOTE: You can moderate Discussions on the Moderation Settings or Discussions > Extended Attributes pages.
While not a common occurrence, you may need to occasionally prevent a specific user(s) from contributing content on your site; if so, you can apply an individual moderation setting on their account, which gives you the ability to review ALL of their Discussion posts and Library Entries before they're made public, regardless of the Discussion or Library they're added to.
NOTE: You can moderate Discussions on the Moderation Settings or Discussions > Extended Attributes pages.
On this page:
- Here at the top, you can search for users you want to add or remove from moderation. Be sure to select the proper Moderated option before searching (e.g., select Yes if you're trying to find users who are already moderated).
- After searching, the resulting users are listed below. At this point, you can set their Moderated status to ON/OFF to add or remove them to or from moderation. You can also click Unsubscribe to remove all of a user's Discussion subscriptions, which is something you may want to do if you're moderating them.
